WHAT IS DHM POWDER?
Dihydromyricetin Extract, primarily derived from vine tea, is also obtained from Hovenia dulcis. SAFETY
According to the "Technical Specification for Acute Toxicity Test of Health Food Inspection and Evaluation," rats were administered dihydromyricetin (5.0 g/kg) via oral gavage for acute toxicity testing. During the observation period, no abnormalities were observed in the rats' skin, mucous membranes, coat, eyes, breathing, circulation, autonomous activities, central nervous system, or behavior. Body weight remained stable, and no fatalities occurred. These findings indicate that dihydromyricetin has low toxicity. Similar results were observed in acute toxicity tests of vine tea ethanol extracts (administered at 10.0 g/kg, with a dihydromyricetin content of 70%), confirming the food safety of vine tea (dihydromyricetin).
